The Red Dogs Youth Football organization is based out of Callicoon Center and Jeffersonville, NY and has long been a cornerstone of local youth sports. With roots in Hale Eddy and Fremont Center, NY, we are a member of the Quad County Youth League. The Red Dogs play against teams from upstate communities like Sidney, Oneonta, Bainbridge, and Walton. Our practice field is located in Callicoon Center, with home games hosted at Sullivan West Elementary School in Jeffersonville.
Our program promotes a culture of teamwork, discipline, and camaraderie, with opportunities for all elementary ages, including a flag team for younger children, junior and senior tackle teams, and a cheerleading squad. Our coaches are NAYS certified and promote fundamental skills, teamwork, respect, and discipline. Respect All, Fear None!
Practicing for over three months of the year beginning in August, we meet during the week and compete on weekends. Kids not only learn the sport but also form lifelong friendships, while parents become a part of what we proudly call the Red Dogs family. Football is Family.
The Red Dogs program has seen significant growth in recent years, and we aim to continue expanding. We welcome anyone interested in joining, whether as a player or supporter. Our team has players from more than one school district, including homeschooled youths. Everyone is welcome to be a part of this thriving and warm community. Let’s go Red Dogs!
